About the recipe for coffee subtitute: what is the best time of year to dig the dandelion root?
(I like to avoid bitterness) should I look for dandelions in certain soil - like loose fertile versa clay? what size root young or old? I've always thought chicory to be VERY bitter are there different species maybe one least bitter?
Any recipe for a substitute made with roasted barley, rye, chicory, and beet root? "Cafix" brand is made in Poland and fuses on their labels so jar
cannot be recycled ,a sign,NOT consumer FRIENDY!
